I just bought the paid version of this offline Eng.- to- Spanish translator app. As we are planning to travel to Spain, I thought this would be very handy to have. It has a major flaw: it launches OK, but when I touch the mic icon to speak a phrase, the app brings up my photos instead and will not allow me to access the speaking function. This difficulty occurs with my iPad 2 as well as with my iPhone 6. I am running the latest up-to-date iOS system software versions on each. I have also tried turning off both my photos and camera options in the privacy settings, t see if that would help, but to no avail. When I touch the mic icon within the app, it always just launches my photos instead. This occurs on both the unpaid and paid versions. I have requested support from Apple and from the developer and have heard nothing back. Has anyone else experienced this problem? What can I do? Please fix. Thank you.

Many features are accessible offline, which makes this very handy when traveling in foreign countries. Some translations are nonsensical, of course, and many menu items will not be translatable or "de-coded". I have the Spanish/English version

The databases that accompany this app appear to be the last generation of translators, which were known for "pidginizing" translations into utter nonsense. When I tested standard LonelyPlanet phrase translations from English into Spanish, hilarity and non-comprehension ensued. There is no excuse for fouling-up traveller's phrases anymore. Please consider downloading Google Translate's offline database, which does a decent job with traveller's phrases thus far, and save yourself the $2.

I deleted this app within 5 min. The Spanish pronunciation was horrible and incorrect. What a piece of garbage.

Do what title says. Great offline translator for your trips or if you do not have Internet connection somewhere. Highly recommend

This spanish translation app is all you need to get quick translations offline or online and it has voice. Highly recommended!

When offline the microphone is turned off. Makes it very difficult when you have to type everything. There's no way to change speed of voice. No feature to copy and paste into another app. This could be a great app, but needs lots of work.
