I deleted this app within 5 min. The Spanish pronunciation was horrible and incorrect. What a piece of garbage.
The databases that accompany this app appear to be the last generation of translators, which were known for "pidginizing" translations into utter nonsense. When I tested standard LonelyPlanet phrase translations from English into Spanish, hilarity and non-comprehension ensued. There is no excuse for fouling-up travellers phrases anymore. Please consider downloading Google Translates offline database, which does a decent job with travellers phrases thus far, and save yourself the $2.
Work very well for me. Very useful for who want to translate in different language
The words are very precise, but the sentences are so off and incorrect, that I have been really embarrassed a few times. The Italian version is exactly the same. If you go to Spain and don’t mind people laughing at you or getting insulted when you use this translator, then this is for you.
This uses a horrible computer generated text to speech generator. The translation it did was poor. An example of the sheer badness if this waste of 2$ is I said "one day at a time" which it spoke as "windy at a teem"
